McLean Teddy Bear Park

McLean Teddy Bear Park was the first park under the jurisdiction of the Park District. The original 42 acres was acquired in 1972 through a no cost, 99 year lease with the Allen County Commissioners. There was a great effort through the Lima Area Jaycees in developing the park: therefore the commissioners gave them the honor of naming the park.
