Kendrick Woods – Cottonwood Trail Access
The Cottonwood Trail Access was developed in 2019 with the help of an enhancement grant from the Clean Ohio Greenspace Conservation program. The land was purchased through the same program back in 2014. It remained untouched for many years and served as a great wildlife habitat. Today, the property is still great for wildlife, you may see White-tailed deer, Eastern Wild Turkey, or any other host of species on a hike in this beautiful section of Kendrick Woods. With over two miles of hiking trails traversing the property and an overlook deck, this property is perfect for any wildlife enthusiast.

More About the Park
The Park District encourages everyone to visit the property but would like to remind everyone to pay attention to the water levels of the Auglaize River. If flooding is occurring, the trails will be closed for public safety reasons as much of the trail system goes underwater during a flood event. We hope that you enjoy your time here and leave with great memories that you can cherish for a lifetime.
