Hermon Woodlands Metro Park

The Park District Foundation purchased the land for Hermon Woodlands Metro Park through an estate gift from Carole E. Hermon in 2014. The donation from Carole helped leverage funds through the Clean to the Park District Foundation of Allen County. Carole’s donation also garnered a Clean Ohio Fund grant by establishing the funds for the local match to secure the grant. These additional funds helped provide for the purchase and site development of the park.
