The Agerter Road River Access provides access to the Auglaize River for fishing/canoeing. It was acquired by the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District in 1979 through a no cost lease by the Allen County Commissioners.

It provides recreational access to the Auglaize River. The river affords some tremendous smallmouth bass fishing. It also is a hub to put-in and take-out canoes and kayaks. the natural and historic beauty of the Auglaize River truly makes it one of a kind. This small but unique park is vital to recreation on the Auglaize River.
