Apple Festival
Join us at the Lauer Historical Farm for a two-day event held biennially on even years in early fall. Enjoy historical demonstrations, hayrides, on-stage entertainment, children’s crafts, and food vendors. There’s something for everyone! This popular, family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Meet the W.I.L.D.
Join us at McLean Teddy Bear Park in April for Meet the W.I.L.D. Join our Park Rangers as they guide you through the forest to encounter our Wildlife In Legendary Disguise. After a short hike there will be take-home treat bags available for kids and concludes with a bonfire and s’mores. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Maple Festival
This one-day event highlights the historical process of maple syrup production. Enjoy a short hike through the forest revealing how Native Americans, early settlers, and modern producers make maple syrup. Enjoy maple themed foods and create your very own maple history craft. This free, family-friendly event occurs every two years on the first weekend of March in even-numbered years.
