Since 1996 Mark has been entertaining and educating his audiences on the lives of insects.  Join Mark and his mascot P.R. Mantis for a hilarious night.  

Come join family and friends at Heritage Park for National Night Out.  There will be food, games for the kids, a 5K fun run and displays from your local Fire and Law Enforcement Departments.  Parking will be at Apollo Career Center.  

Children, ages 3-5, and their adult companion and siblings are invited to celebrate summer with a trip to the Ottawa Metro Park Beach.  Enjoy the water, along with games and a scavenger hunt.  Dress for swimming and remember to bring sunscreen.  $3 per child, adults get in free.  Register by August 2.  

Kids, ages 5-12, are invited to explore life in a creek.  We will be searching the creek for clues of who lives there by using dip nets and hand lenses.  Be prepared to get wet and muddy.  Wear old clothing and water shoes, rubber boots or old gym shoes.  Register by August 2.
