NATURE PALS: NUTS ABOUT SQUIRRELS

Ottawa Metro Park

Children ages 3-5 and their adult companion are invited to learn about squirrels, who are quite busy this time of year preparing for winter!  Stories, songs and crafts will all be part of the fun.  Come dressed for a hike in the woods. Registration is required by Oct. 31.  

Chunky Blanket Workshop

Learn how to make a chunky blanket with Adelyn Lafferty. You will need to bring 8 skeins of Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss yarn.  Class size is limited.  Class fee is $15 per person.  Register by Nov. 2.

NATURE PALS: WINTER IS “SNOW” MUCH FUN!

There’s nothing more fun than playing out in the snow during the winter! Children ages 3-5 and their adult companion will enjoy activities focusing on snow and snowflakes. Dress appropriately for a hike in the woods that will, hopefully, include a walk through the snow. Register by Jan 2.
