SUMMARY:People & Rivers: The Influence of People on Aquatic Life in Dug Run
DESCRIPTION:Join Dr. Zuwerink\, the biology professor at the University of Northwestern Ohio\, as we explore the effects of people on stream life. Dr. Zuwerink (MS/PhD from The OSU) has spent the last 6 years studying Dug Run\, a tributary of the Ottawa river that traverses the campus of UNOH with an urban setting on the East side and more suburban setting on the West side. We’ll discuss the populations of fish and macroinvertebrates\, differences between each side of campus\, and changes that have been observed. This program is co-sponsored by the Tri-Moraine Audubon Society. \n
