DESCRIPTION:Boasting up to 120 “falling stars” an hour\, this is one of the northern hemisphere’s best meteor showers! The Lima Astronomical Society will provide telescopes to watch this fantastic event &  view other celestial objects. We will utilize the heated shelter house to warm up as necessary\, but please dress for the weather. If viewing conditions are unfavorable\, LAS will present indoors. Register by Dec. 13. \n
